Mulgrave Machine Works Limited is committed to a strong safety and health program that protects its staff, its property and the public from accidents.

Employees at every level, including management and subcontractors are responsible and accountable for the company’s overall safety and health initiatives.  Complete and active participation by everyone, every day, in every job is necessary for the safety and health excellence the company expects.  Management supports coordination of safety and health among all workers on the job site.

Management supports participation in the program as well as co-operation by all personnel, and provides proper equipment, training and procedures.  Personnel are responsible for following all procedures, working safely, and wherever possible, improving safety and health measures.

An injury and accident free workplace is our goal.  Through continuous safety and loss control effort, we can accomplish this.

All Mulgrave Machine Works’ personnel will abide by the safety and health program in effect at customer’s and supplier’s sites while on their premises.

All Mulgrave Machine Works’ personnel are responsible, and will abide by all environmental regulations that would pertain to any work site, which would include customer’s work sites, to maintain a safe working environment.

The safety information in this policy does not take precedence over the Occupational Health and Safety Act.  All employees shall be familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
